10 Years of Useful Media Party

The 10 years of @usefulmedianz party was a smashing success! Thanks to everyone who was there and who was there in spirit. Feeling the love and support from our awesome community

We made it to 10 years, registering our business in 2013. We had just finished our first feature film - ‘How to Meet Girls from a Distance’ with the Traces of Nut crew.

Which led to us deciding to create our own production company - Useful Media.

Through the years we have been involved in some incredible projects and it was incredible to stop, reflect and celebrate the milestone, with friends, colleagues and collaborators.

Big thanks to Ruth and whanau, @kath_st_cath for catering, Tony Spear for the Sound System, DJ’s Bek and Danny, Sam for projector, Emmy for the showreel edit, my flatmates at the Embassy, Sonny for the bespoke Useful Native gin and everyone that brought lighting and Vibes/ Dance floor groves.
